VP500 (VP30) maintenance

Overview

VP500 and VP30 are both the same machine. 500 refers to litres per minute and 30 refers to cubic metres per hour. Regardless of whether the unit is in the older tall enclosure or the newer enclosure with four hinged doors, the spares for the compressor are the same.

The key difference in spec between the two designs is as follows:

Older design has B&R PP35 mono PLC/Screen and star/delta starting. Except for the rear door, all panels are retained by screws.

New design has four doors for access to controls at the front, plus left, right and rear for easier access. Screen is T30 4.3" colour touch and unit has a soft starter. The new design is much lower and is designed to be able to be air freighted in a standard cargo plane. It does not have to go in a "freighter".

S127 SERVICE KIT, 6000 HOUR, VP30

S128 SERVICE KIT, 12000 HOUR, VP30

S129 GASKET SET, VP30

S130 SERVICE KIT, UNLOADER, VP30

For a 2000 hour kit, use S129 and S130. With these you can change unloader pistons and inspect and clean valves.
