March 2021 - Enthusiastic and focused Technician needed

Maximator makes machines for a variety of applications, mostly involving either high pressure gas or high pressure fluids. Test systems, gas injection controllers, Nitrogen generators and compressors, to name a few.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who loves being hands on but who is also great at speaking to and communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Someone who would rather pick up the phone than send an email. Someone who gets things done. This role will be a key position in our small team in Winsford, building, testing, installing and servicing machines and equipment. This will be mainly in our factory but a key part of the role is to visit customer sites to repair, service and install equipment and systems.

As well as your hands on skills, you will need to be tech savvy, so that you can communicate by email, prepare quotes and help with the company's production systems.

We are a flexible organisation and we are good at what we do. You will be part of a close team and you will need to communicate openly and help out as required.

Key Responsibilities:

General.

• Assemble machines and systems

• repair, diagnose and service equipment

• Visit customer sites to repair, diagnose, service and install equipment and systems.

• Quote service work to customers

Knowledge.

• Experience and skills in machines of various types

• Good IT skills, including with spreadsheets, email, internet, even social media.
